When people are thinking about making a custom design dog collar, leash or harness set with your own personal design and private logo, they will simply pump up and say: just tell me the unit price, how much would it cost finally?
So here I would like to have an explaine of how we quote for custom design with a private logo, what hidden cost you may need to consider.
First, considering private label, you will need to send us your logo image file in the proper format, like PDF, Ai etc, and we will send it to the logo maker to make it from a image to a real logo. It is normally PVC, leather or clothing or even just a sticker, Different logo may have different cost, let’s take the PVC logo for example, which is commonly used by most of our clients, it will cost about 50USD tooling fee for it.That is a one time cost, if you have different style of logos, it will cost additional tooling fee.
For some collar and harness with metal buckle, some of our clients would just choose to have laser engraving logo on the metal buckle, it will looks like this:
The good thing for this kind of laser engraving logos is there are no MOQ required, we could even do it at 1 pc, and no tooling fee required. just a 1USD added to each item, like we can make the collar like this at 5USD for the collar, and 11$ for the harness.
After deciding your logo, here come the style and pattern parts:

Different style would have different price, for the most common classic style, which cost about 4USD for a harness, for the tough harness style, it might cost more than 6USD.
Of course, material affact the price too, neaprone +meshing is the most common combination, some may like to have courduroy or velvet, some even choose the luxury metal buckle, which will be more expensive than the plastic buckle.
Some complicate design and effect would raise the cost too, for example, those with reflective effect may cost 0.6usd more than the plain one.
Another reason which may effect the price is the quantity. Custom items required custom pattern, tooling fee of logos, etc, so that would require a certain MOQ. for the classic style, we could do it at 20-30pcs per size per style, but for some complicate design, the MOQ would raise to 100 or 200pcs.
Last thing to consider is about the shipping cost, shipping cost would be depend on weight and shipping method you choose. We normally, send it via DHL, UPS or Fedex which will takes about 4-7days to your front door.
If you want to saving shipping cost, you may choose osean shipping, it will takes long time, like 45 days, but much cheaper than the expreshipping.
Finally, if you choose payment via Paypal, there would be an extra 4.3% paypal fee on the total.
