What is MOQ?
MOQ literally means: minimum order quantity,refers to the least amount of products or units that a supplier is willing to produce at one time. MOQs are set by suppliers to cover their cost of production and ensure that they make a profit off of each production run.. When it comes to custom design orders, quantity is the No.1 factor that affect price.
Why we need a MOQ when ordering custom design dog harness?
We need buy material from our supplier to make the products for you, for example, your harness use a very unique buckle or clasp, while we searching them on the market, but they are very rare, and the supplier said: We have to make a mode for this, which cost about $100, it is not wise to make 10 pieces of it unless you can offer a higher price. That is why small order always more expensive than large order. On the contrary, a reduced MOQ requirement may require a higher unit price for the supplier to compensate for an overall smaller profit on your order. Likewise, a unit price cut may result in an MOQ increase. It’s unrealistic to expect any supplier to offer both a price and MOQ reduction at the same time.
Another thing is that when making your private logo, each logo cost about 50USD mode fee for that, if you have 1 logo in 3 size, then it will cost about 150USD for just logo.
Also, some products are require a special product line or a special machine for that, once we turn on that machine it may cause money..
So the more complicate, the more unique the products you want to make, the higher MOQ will required.
What is your MOQ requirement?
Here comes the final question: what is your moq requirement?
There are 3 different situations on our website about minimum order requirement.
1.Ready stock items without any private logo or trade mark. Except doing custom design harness, collar or leash set for our clients, we carry many bow tie collar, leash, cotton rope leads and harness in ready stock too, there is no minimum requirement. You can mix order like 3-5 pcs or more. Always feel free to ask for better offer if you looking to buy in bulks.
2.Just engrave your logo on our ready stock metal buckle items.
To engrave your logo on our metal buckle collars or harness, we will require a MOQ of 5 pcs, mixed order is accept.
3. Custom design harness : in this collection we can printed color and pattern according your picture.
We can start from a 10 pcs per size per style, but we would suggest you from 30 pcs to give you a better quotation.
4. For some unique style harness, which we did not made before, we will required a higher MOQ like 50 pcs per size per style.
